Tejinder Sabharwal

It's with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Tejinder Sabharwal, who passed away peacefully on October 22nd, 2025 at the age of 74. 

Born on January 1st, 1951 (he used to joke that the whole world celebrates his birthday) in New Delhi, India, Tejinder was the son of Shanti Devi and Shree Ram. He grew up with a strong sense of family, hard work, and compassion - values he carried throughout his life.  

Tejinder was known for his love of music. He worked for many years as a Disc Jockey serving the South Asian Community in New Jersey. Outside of work, he found joy in singing, dancing and spending time with his friends and family.  

Tejinder is survived by his wife, Shashi, daughter Shilpa, Son in law Nilesh and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. 

A funeral will be held on Monday, October 27th at Franklin Memorial Park beginning at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of a life well-lived.  

Dad, your love, laughter and wisdom will live on in our hearts forever.
