Shamalbhai K Patel

Shamalbhai K. Patel, 92, died on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Hunterdon Medical Center.  He was born on February 7, 1932 to his parents Kashibhai R. and Parsanben Patel, in Ajol, Gujarat, India. He is survived by his beloved wife Indiraben (nee Amin) Patel, and his son Mihirkumar and daughter-in-law Ankur, grandchildren Manav and Anshi Patel of Branchburg, sister Taraben Patel of India, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Hiraben Patel, Durgaben Patel and Dr. Mina Patel.

Shamalbhai earned is BA in science and worked as an engineer, prior to retiring.  He was a hardworker, loyal and honest man.  Shamalbhai was a devoted husband, loving father and dearest dada. He loved listening to Indian music and was "Mr. Fix It" repairing all that required attention around his home.  He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick.  Arrangements are under the direction of India Funeral Service, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ.
