Rameshbhai Dhulabhai Patel

Rameshbhai Dhulabhai Patel born June 5, 1938, in Phij, India passed on August 22th, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Urmila, brother Jayanti, son Bankim and his wife Trupti, and grandchildren Ashnee and Kevan.

Rameshbhai came to the US in 1969 on a student visa and made a life for his family through hard work, grit, determination, and the support of his friends. He often worked 70-hour weeks to provide for his family. The hard work paid off as he was able to unite his brothers by bringing them to the US over a few years. This family is over 60 people strong today.

His complete and unconditional love of family drove him throughout his life.

His desires in life were his family, friends, his car, a perfect lawn, planting beautiful flowers, and of course watching a Yankee game.

A viewing will take place on Monday, August 26, 2025 from 6 PM - 8 PM,  at  India Funeral Service, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869. Cremation Services will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 1 PM - 3 PM at Franklin Memorial Park,  1800 NJ 27,  North Brunswick Township, NJ.
