Jashumati K. Patel

Jashumati K. Patel, 92, of Parsippany, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1933, in Ode, Gujarat, India, to her loving parents, Kashiben and Chunibhai Patel.

Jashumati was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished Dadi (Mamma). She was known for her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit. A wonderful cook, she took great pride in preparing meals for her family and friends, hosting gatherings filled with love and laughter. She loved to sing and was a passionate advocate for the needy and poor, always standing up for what she believed in with compassion and strength.

She shared many cherished years of her married life in Navsari, Gujarat, building a home filled with love and values.  She provided her children with a nurturing and enriching life, imparting enduring values, promoting education, devotional service, and the true meaning of life.

She is survived by her sons Sanjay (Dipti), Katan (Jaysharee), and Vijay (Daxa); her daughter-in-law Amita Patel; seven grandchildren—Radhey Patel, Gopi (Hemu) Krishna(Harper), Gokul (Jaymika) Patel, Radhika Patel, Anand Patel, and Anjali Patel; and five great-grandchildren—Kannan, Sneh, Aahana, Ayaan, and Akira. She is also survived by her brother Mafatbhai (Charu) Patel.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kantibhai; son Ajay; brothers Nagin and Suresh; and sisters Chandrika and Lalita.

Cremation services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.

Jashumati will be fondly remembered for her love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community.
