He was a lover of Cricket, the holidays, and social activities. In his free time, he enjoyed watching television, and spending time with friends and family.

Govindbhai was a devoted husband, father, brother, Dada, cousin, uncle, and friend.

He is predeceased by his son, Keyur G. Patel, six brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nayanaben Govindbhai Patel, daughter, Payal (Chetan) Patel, brother, Dinesh (Pratibha) Patel of Edison, NJ, sisters Shantaben of Ohio, USA, and Lalitaben Patel of India, 3 grandchildren, Sia, Prisha, and Tanishka, and daughter-in-law Shefali Patel.

He will be remembered by all who knew him for his kind, caring, generous spirit, and keen sense of humor.

Services will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, 10AM- 12 Noon at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mt. Airy Road,
