Dev Patel

Dev Manoj Patel, 21, was born September 23, 2002, in Edison, New Jersey, and died on November 17, 2023, in New Haven, Connecticut.

He was an intelligent young man who received many awards throughout High School for robotics and was his family's go-to guy for tech support. He enjoyed formula 1 racing and was a “New York Giant's” fan. Dev was an aspiring architect who enjoyed creating blueprints of his many creative ideas.  At his internship over the summer, he designed a cul-de-sac in Connecticut. His design was so impressive, it is the one that they bid on and started constructing.

Dev loved his family and always tried his best to spend as much time with them as possible. On his visits home from school, he made sure not to miss seeing anyone even if it was for just a few minutes.

He is survived by his Grandparents, Bhailalbhai and Kamuben Patel, Kantilal and Hema Patel, Parents, Nayana and Manoj Patel, Sister, Chandani Patel, Uncle, Manish (Manisha) Patel, Aunt, Ila (Dinesh) Patel, and several cousins.

Dev will be remembered for his caring spirit, and willingness to help everyone. He was a devoted son, loving brother, dear grandson, treasured nephew, and loyal friend.

Arrangements are under the direction of India Funeral Service, 416 Bell Ave Raritan, Nj 08869.

A service will be held followed by cremation, Wednesday November 22, 2023, from 1-3PM at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 State Route 27, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
