Daljit Kaur, age 81, died peacefully on Saturday December 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 16, 1942, in Amritsar Punjab India to her late parents Ajaib (Singh) and Mohinder Kaur.

Daljit loved her home and her family dearly.  She was known to all as being kind, caring, loving and generous.  She was a devoted wife, mother and loving Nani-Dadi.

Daljit is survived by her two sons, Gurinder “Guy” (Punita) Singh of Texas, Sam (Samantha) Singh of North Carolina and daughter Baljinder “Rani” Singh of Bound Brook NJ.

Daljit was predeceased by her loving husband Sukhwant Singh (8-16-19).

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday December 14, 2023, between 11:00am and 1:00pm at Somerset Hills Memorial Park 95 Mt Airy Road Basking Ridge NJ followed by prayers at Garden State Sikh Association (Bridgewater Gurdawara) 977 Washington Valley Road Basking Ridge NJ.  

Bhog will be held on Friday December 22, 2023 11am to 1pm at Garden State Sikh Association (Bridgewater Gurdawara) 977 Washington Valley Road Basking Ridge NJ

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of India Funeral Service, Raritan NJ.
