In Loving Memory of Anand Kishore Mathur
May 6, 1943 – May 2, 2025

Anand Kishore Mathur, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and respected scholar, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, just days before his 82nd birthday. He was born on May 6, 1943, in Jhalawar, India, to Inder Rani Mathur and Prabhu Dayal Mathur.

A man of quiet strength and deep intellect, Anand earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and dedicated his career to BEL Sahibabad in India, where he was known for his diligence, sincerity, and work ethic. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Anand was a lifelong learner, an insightful writer, and a lover of cinema who found joy in storytelling and artistic expression.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Minakshi Mathur, who passed away in 2019. Together, they built a warm and loving home rooted in strong values and affection. Anand is survived by his son Raghav and daughter-in-law Aradhna, his daughter Neha and son-in-law Alind Mathur, as well as three adoring grandchildren—Abhiroop (Abhi), Ruchir, and Sachi—who knew him fondly as Nanu and Dadu. He is also remembered by his faithful dog, Star, his constant and loyal companion. Anand is also survived by two brothers Pratap Kumar Mathur, Alok (Sunita) Mathur, two sisters Sudha (Lami Mohan) Mathur, and Raksh (Vinod) Mathur.

Anand’s legacy is one of love, knowledge, and quiet dedication. His wisdom, kindness, and enduring warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Viewing and services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 11:30 AM – 2:15 PM, India Funeral Service, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ.  Cremation will be 3 PM, Franklin Memorial Park, 1500 Rt. 27, North Brunswick.

Viewing and Pujah will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, India Funeral Services, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ from 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM.  Cremation will be at 3 PM, Franklin Memorial Park, Rt 27, North Brunswick, NJ.
